South London Girls Football League is back for its second year!! After a hugely successful trial year with the the central venue U7s League, will be back from September 2026 trialling an U8s (year 3 in Sept ‘26) model every Sunday from 13th September to 28th March, with breaks during the Half-Terms and School Holidays. In total, there will be 20 game weeks during this period. The league will be a developmental central venue 5v5 league football for U8 girls, with a maximum of 7 players per team.
The games will take place at 11am on a 2G all weather pitch at Colfe's School, SE12 8AW.
The players and games will have a referee/game manager overseeing them and do not need a coach, allowing them the freedom to discover football and understand the foundations of the game in an empowering environment.
Players can join as a team or as individuals or a small group that can be placed together in teams. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PART OF A TEAM OR CLUB TO BE A PART OF THE LEAGUE. You can, however, join as a team or request to be with friends if only a couple of you are signing up.
The season will cost £200 per player (reduced to £150 for all players that register before 30th June). The cost includes three festival days after the season in April, May and June. We have a £50 non-refundable deposit option, if you aren’t 100% certain of full commitment but would like to reserve a space. If you choose to commit, you will receive a link to pay the remaining £100 on the 30th June. If you have not paid by this date, the remaining amount will increase to £150.
