South London Girls Football League is back for its second year!! After a hugely successful trial year with the the central venue U7s League, will be back from September 2026 trialling an U8s model every Sunday from 13th September to 28th March, with breaks during the Half-Terms and School Holidays. In total, there will be 20 game weeks during this period. The league will be a developmental central venue 5v5 league football for U8 girls, with a maximum of 7 players per team.
The games will take place at 11am on a 2G all weather pitch at Colfe's School, SE12 8AW.
The players and games will have a referee/game manager overseeing them and do not need a coach, allowing them the freedom to discover football and understand the foundations of the game in an empowering environment.
Players can join as a team or as individuals or a small group that can be placed together in teams. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE PART OF A TEAM OR CLUB TO BE A PART OF THE LEAGUE. You can, however, join as a team or request to be with friends if only a couple of you are signing up.
The season will cost £200 per player (reduced to £150 for all players that register before 30th June). The cost includes three festival days after the season in April, May and June.
